Kiirettä pitää - Busy enough

Viimeinen kuukausi on ollut melkosta haipakkaa. Muutto, koulutehtävien palautuksia, pari projektia sun muuta mukavaa. Lumi ei meinaa pysyä maassa ja syyslomakin meni menojaan asiakastyytyväisyyskyselyitä pääsääntöisesti tehden. Seuraavaa lisäprojektia ois luvassa joululahjojen tekemisessä lähipiirille.

Joulusta puheenollen... Kuka idiootti on keksiny laittaa joulutarvikkeet myyntiin jo nyt?! Kaupoissa on ollu myynnissä jo kohta kolmisen viikkoa joulutarvikkeita, valoja sun muuta. Eikä lumi oo kunnolla edes maassa! Joulun on joo kerran vuodessa, mutta tarviiko sitä toitottaa 3-4 kuukautta... Sitähän kerkiää kyllästyä jo pelkkään ajatukseen ennen itse juhlapäivää. Viimeistään sitä on jo kypsä heti uuden vuoden jälkeen. Mutta joo....

Muutto meni melko kivuttomasti. Uusi kämppä voittaa edellisen 9-1, ainoa miinus taitaa olla 2 kertaa pidempi koulumatka. Pari laatikkoa on vielä purkamatta, mutta sekin järjestyy varmasti pian, kuhan saadaan jostain vitriini. Uusille verhoillekin olisi kysyntää, sillä uuteen olkkariin menee neljä sivuverhoa. Ikkunatkin ovat sen verran isoja että niistä varmasti vetää jos niissä ei oo mitään edessä. Mutta kohta ei tartte miettiä sitä muutamaan kuukauteen.

Matka alkaa jo uhkaavasti häämöttää, ja lentoliput tuli jo ostettua. Mennään nyt sitten Islannin kautta, muhaha! Lähtö oiskin jo melkein heti joulun jälkeen, ennen uutta vuotta. On muutes tämän tytön eka uusi vuosi, ku ei oo edes koira kaverina. Saa nähdä tuleeko lähdettyä isommille karkeloille vai nukuttua onnen ohi..

Vaatepoliitiikkaakin olen jo kerennyt miettiä ja miehen kommetti siihen taisi olla tyyliin: "Noilla retkuilla sinet mihinkään lähe."

Myönnettäköön ettei mun vaatteet oo todellakaan suoraan catwalkilta, joten katteltiin sitten netistä jotain mukavaa. Kartsalla olevat "rääsyt" kun maksaa jumalattoman paljon, tai ainakin net mitkä kummatkin kelpuuttaa. Nyt sitten jännityksellä odotellaan että postissa tulee sopivan kokoisia riepuja...

The last month has been busy. Moving to a new apartment, returning assignments, few project and some other stuff. The snow has failed couple times to stay on the ground already and my autumn break went mostly making customer surveys. My next extra project should be to start making christmas presents to my family.

While talking about Christmas... Who's the idiot, who thought to start the christmas season in stores 2-3 months before Christmas?! There has been almost 3 weeks on sale Christmas lights, decorates etc. And the snow is not even on the ground! I know, Christmas is only once in a year, but do we have to "feel" it for 3-4 months... I'm getting bored just for the tought before the celebration day. And I will be fed up right after New Year. But to another matters...

Moving to this apartment went quite smoothly. I love the place even though the only minus is longer distance to school. Couple boxes are still unpacked, but I believe we get that sorted out after we get a new shelf. I'm also thinking of new curtains, thanks to three windows and door to balcony in the living room. But maybe I will figure it out after I come back from Canada.

The trip is getting closer and I recently bougth the flight tickets and the flight goes through Iceland. The depart is few days after the Christmas Day, before New Year. This will be my first New Year alone, not even my dog by my side. It remains to be seen if I'm going to somewhere to bigger parties or am I going to stay in my room and sleep over the whole celebration..

I've also thought about the clothes I'm taking with me. My boyfriends comment for this was: "You need new clothes."

I admit, my clothes are not fashionable. So we started to look some new clothes for me from internet. The prices in the local stores seems to be pricy, or at least those we both agree to be good ones. Now there is only waiting are the clothes we orded fitting or not...

Muuttosuunnitelmia ja housunpersauksen kuluttamista... - Planning to move out and consumptioning jeans bottoms

Aivan ku koulussa ei olis tarpeeksi tekemistä, tuhlailen tehtävien lisäksi aikaa lomakkeiden täyttämiseen... ja muutamaan projektiin. Lomakkeita täyttelen vaihtoa varten, olen jo vuoden ollut opiskelijayrityksessä ja sen lisäksi päätin ottaa vielä yhden ylimääräisen projektin. No okei, kaksi. Eikä unohdeta niitä kursseja ja ryhmätöitä, jotka kuuluu tähän koulunkäyntiin. Laskeskelin että tämän syyslukukauden aikana pitäisi saada kaiken tämän jälkeen yli 50 opintopistettä, mukaan laskettuna 15 op:ta opiskelijayritykseltä. Toi määrä pitäisi yleensä opiskella vuoden aikana... Oma moka mutta minkäs teet.

ORGANISOIT!

Eli periaatteessa järjestät itselle vapaa-aikaa. Helpommin sanottu ku tehty. Helpotusta elämään tuo se että lukujärjestys näyttää tiistait ja keskiviikot lähes tyhjää ensimmäisellä jaksolla. Eikä kaikilla kursseilla ole istumispakkoa (mikä ei ole välttämättä kauhean hyvä asia).

Kaiken tämän kouluhaipakan lisäksi, me löydettiin poikkiksen kanssa uusi unelmakämppä. Muutto keskellä kuuta ja kaiken kiireen keskellä tietenkin. Luulisin kuitenkin että tää on sen arvosta: kymmenen neliötä enemmän tilaa, oma sauna ja keittiökaappeja muutama kappale enemmän. Suihkuunki mahtuu pesukone, ilman että tarvii tinkiä juuri tilasta. TÄYDELLISTÄ! Pisteenä i:n päälle, koira saa oman parvekkeen! (Me kun sitä tuskin käytämme yhtä ahkerasti mitä tuo meidän kyylä.)

Mutta kaiken tämän kiireen ja pieni muotoisen stressin keskellä, en voi väittää itseäni onnettomaksi. Tekemistä riittää, ja projektit jotka itselleni otin ovat enemmän kuin mielenkiintoisia. Tai ainakin muuten palkitsevia. Jos mä en näiden oppimisprosessien jälkeen osaa tehdä tiimityötä, saati jos nämä jää jotenki retuperälle on meikäläisen parempi vaihtaa alaa (varmaan sen kolmannen kerran). Mutta hei, tekemisellä oppii! Lähdetään nyt tästä positiivisuudesta liikkelle.

Eikä unohdeta ton mun ihanan miehen tukea. Enhän tosiaan yksin muuta.

Like there is not enough things to do with school, I spend my time not only with assignments, but also by filling forms... and with some projects. Forms are for exchange sake, but I have already been working for a year in our student company and besides working it there, I also took one extra project. Fine, I admit - I took two extra projects. Let's not forget those courses and teamworks I need to attend. I counted all the credits I should get during this fall: over 50. There is included the 15 credits I will get from working in student company. Usually you should get at least 50 credits after studying a year... It's my own fault, but what you gonna do.

ORGANIZE!

Basically, you organize some free-time for yourself. Easier said than done. Well, it makes a bit easier to not have on Tuesdays and on Wednesdays any lectures on this first period. Also, I don't have to sit on every lecture, unless I want to (which might not be such a good thing).

As a marshmallow on top of the all schoolwork, me and my boyfriend found new apartment! We have to move in by 15th of this month and of course, it's middle of the all the hard work. But I think it will be worth it: ten sq meters more space, own sauna and more cupboards in kitchen. There is also more than enough space in the bathroom to place our washing machine. Just one word for all things above: PERFECT! And there is also my dog's most favorite "own" place of apartments: balcony! (I doubt that me and my boyfriend are going to use that as much as this furry stalker of mine.)

But even between this rush and small "kind of" stress, I cannot say that I'm unhappy. There is lot to do I admit, but still all project I have are more than interesting. Or otherwise rewarding. If for some reason I cannot do teamwork after these projects, or they somehow won't get done, I believe I have to change my major (and that's would be a third time already). But hey, they say that you learn by doing! So let's try be positive.

And let's not forget the support of my lovely man. I'm not moving alone you know.
